Track Two Diplomacy
CCG pays close attention to international relations, promotes China and globalization, actively engages in international exchange, and gives full play to its role as a "Track II diplomacy" think tank. Our think tank organizes sub-forums, bilateral and multilateral events, roundtables, banquets and other activities at major international policy and opinion exchange platforms such as the Paris Peace Forum, the World Economic Forum and the Munich Security Conference to promote dialogue and build consensus among international political, business and academic circles. CCG actively engages in "Track II Diplomacy" with the policy, think tank and business communities of various countries, conducts annual research and exchanges in multiple countries, promotes interaction between Chinese and foreign parties, and maintains communication channels with the policymaking parties of various countries.

CCG Co-organizes the 8th World Chinese Economic Summit
The 8th World Chinese Economic Summit was held on Nov. 16 to 17 in Malacca, Malaysia. It is created by the Asian Strategy & Leadership Institute in 2009 to enhance connectivity and business linkages between China and Southeast Asia and China and Europe in line with the Chinese leadership’s “One Belt, One Road” initiatives. CCG Co-organized the Summit and delivered a keynote presentation to the audience.

CCG visits US think tanks to boost bilateral understanding
On May 1st, the CCG expert delegation visited the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), the well-renowned US think tank. CCG representatives held in-depth discussions with a number of CSIS senior researchers and US Department of Energy officials on a wide variety of issues. Topics covered include the future and challenges of Sino-US relations, Sino-US energy cooperation, multilateral trade mechanisms, and future academic cooperation.
