Roundtables
CCG pays close attention to international relations, promotes China and globalization, actively engages in international exchange, and gives full play to its role as a "Track II diplomacy" think tank. Our think tank organizes sub-forums, bilateral and multilateral events, roundtables, banquets and other activities at major international policy and opinion exchange platforms such as the Paris Peace Forum, the World Economic Forum and the Munich Security Conference to promote dialogue and build consensus among international political, business and academic circles. CCG actively engages in "Track II Diplomacy" with the policy, think tank and business communities of various countries, conducts annual research and exchanges in multiple countries, promotes interaction between Chinese and foreign parties, and maintains communication channels with the policymaking parties of various countries.

CCG Hosts 2023 Chengdu Global Youth Talent Conference
On June 8th, the 2023 Chengdu Global Youth Talent Conference, hosted by the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), was held at the China-Europe Center in Chengdu. Guests from more than ten countries, including several ambassadors to China, representatives of international organizations, internationally renowned experts and scholars, heads of multinational companies, and youth representatives discussed topics ranging from how to better promote events held in Chengdu, making Chengdu a event-oriented city, improving its business environment, fostering the cultivation of international talent and Chengdu’s experience in working to become a “park city”.

CCG hosts closed joint roundtable with New Zealand China Council
On May 10, 2023, CCG hosted a closed roundtable conference jointly with the New Zealand China Council with the theme ‘Towards a More Resilient New Zealand-China Relationship’. Representatives from both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as trade cooperation between China and New Zealand, the development of China-New Zealand diplomatic relations and cultural exchange. Mike Liu, Vice President and Senior Fellow from the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), and Alistair Crozier, Executive Director at the New Zealand China Council gave welcome speeches, while H.E. Grahame Morton, Ambassador of New Zealand to China, and Ambassador ZHAN Yongxin, Chairman of China National Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation, each delivered keynote speeches.

CCG hosts a Two Track dialogue on ‘reforming globalization’
On April 29th, during a visit by a delegation from the Global Foundation to Australia to CCG, a joint closed-door roundtable was held focusing on the themes of ‘reforming globalization’ and the need for ’dialogue between civilizations’. The four sessions held during the roundtable welcomed over 30 participants from China and Australia with representatives from think tanks, leaders in business, and diplomatic envoys to China, who engaged in in-depth discussions on the most pressing global issues today.

Book Release | CCG Global Dialogues
On December 16, 2022, CCG released the new book CCG Global Dialogues: Understanding Globalization, Global Gaps, and Power Shifts in the 21st Century during the 7th China Global Think Tank Innovation Forum. The book was edited by Wang Huiyao, President of CCG and Miao Lu, Secretary General of CCG, and was published by Palgrave Macmillan, an internationally renowned publisher.

Realigning the US-China Trade and Economic Relationship
On June 20th, during the 8th China and Globalization Forum, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) held a special online discussion between Chinese and US think tanks including six renowned experts on trade from the US and China to discuss the trade and economic relations between the US and China.
