Roundtables
CCG pays close attention to international relations, promotes China and globalization, actively engages in international exchange, and gives full play to its role as a "Track II diplomacy" think tank. Our think tank organizes sub-forums, bilateral and multilateral events, roundtables, banquets and other activities at major international policy and opinion exchange platforms such as the Paris Peace Forum, the World Economic Forum and the Munich Security Conference to promote dialogue and build consensus among international political, business and academic circles. CCG actively engages in "Track II Diplomacy" with the policy, think tank and business communities of various countries, conducts annual research and exchanges in multiple countries, promotes interaction between Chinese and foreign parties, and maintains communication channels with the policymaking parties of various countries.

Alliance of Global Talent Organizations · Hangzhou Launched
On November 7, the 2021 Hangzhou International Human Resources Exchange and Cooperation Conference kicked off. The unveiling ceremony of the Alliance of Global Talent Organizations · Hangzhou (AGTO·HZ) was held in conjunction with the launch ceremony of the West Lake Dialogue during the Hangzhou International Human Resources Exchanges and Cooperation Conference 2021.

CCG hosts the Global Young Leaders Dialogue Program Launch

60 Countries Diplomats Join in CCG Ambassadors Roundtable
The opening remarks were delivered by Wang Huiyao, president of CCG; H.E. Rahamtalla M. Osman, permanent representative of the African Union (AU) to China; and H.E. Martin Mpana, ambassador of the Republic of Cameroon, dean of African Ambassadors Group. Zhu Min, chairman of the National Institute of Financial Research at Tsinghua University and former deputy managing director of IMF, introduced the highlights of China’s 14th FYP. Ambassadors, counselors and embassy representatives of more than 60 countries discussed the prospects for multilateral economic cooperation, cross-border trade and free trade zones.

AGTO launched at the Third Paris Peace Forum
At the Paris Peace Forum, the Alliance of Global Talent Organizations, an international non-governmental organization proposed by the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), completed its soft launch with an expert discussion on November 13. As a new platform for knowledge-sharing and capacity-building and to facilitate international dialogue on global talent mobility, the AGTO addresses a significant gap in global governance and responds to challenges in global cooperation on talent flow, now further intensified by the global pandemic.

CCG Exchange Meeting with 25 Ambassadors from Different Countries
As a leading Chinese global think tank, CCG is committed to research in the fields of globalization and international relations, and maintains close relations with embassies of various countries. At this critical stage of the world’s economic and social recovery following the COVID-19 pandemic, CCG President Dr. Wang Huiyao communicated face-to-face with the ambassadors of 25 countries to China, reflecting the role of think tanks in Track II Diplomacy. CCG Webinar | Rebooting the BRI amidst the pandemic
On August 26, 2020, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) held a webinar on the theme “Rebooting the Belt and Road Initiative amidst the pandemic: Challenges, prospects, and innovations.” The event featured leading scholars and experts discussing topics such as the social and economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the role of Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area in facilitating the sustainable BRI investments in response to the pandemic. Tony Cheung, correspondent at the South China Morning Post (SCMP) hosted the event.
