60 Countries’ Participants Joined China and Globalization ForumMay 25 , 2024
On May 25th and 26th, 2024, the 10th China and Globalization Forum, hosted by the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), co-organized by the China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF), and supported by the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies (ACCWS), was recently held in Beijing. This forum focused on issues relating to globalization and global governance in a changing world and welcomed nearly 300 guests from over 60 countries. More than 100 guests come from outside China for this event, including international political figures, ambassadors to China, renowned scholars, heads of international organizations, industry leaders, and numerous domestic and foreign media representatives. Participants engaged in lively discussions on topics ranging from global governance to China-Europe relations, talent governance, and CBD innovation and development. CCG also hosted a welcome banquet, an opening dinner and a closing dinner during the forum.

From April 14th to 16th this year, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz made an official visit to China, marking his second visit to the country since taking office. Before, during, and after Chancellor Scholz's visit, a total of four high-level German delegations, including representatives from the Economic Forum of the Social Democratic Party (SPD), one of Germany's oldest political parties; a delegation led by the chairman of the Munich Security Conference (MSC) Foundation in the field of international strategy and security; a senior delegation from one of Germany's largest political parties, the Christian Democratic Union (CDU); and a delegation of the Körber Foundation, visited the headquarters of the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) in Beijing.

On April 1, 2024, students from the International Master’s Program of the School of International Studies at Peking University and the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) Language and Professional Training Program visited the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) to learn about the development of CCG and the “Global Young Leaders Dialogue (GYLD)” program initiated by CCG. The international students are from Germany, France, South Korea, the United States, Japan, Italy, Switzerland, and several other countries.
