Roundtables
CCG pays close attention to international relations, promotes China and globalization, actively engages in international exchange, and gives full play to its role as a "Track II diplomacy" think tank. Our think tank organizes sub-forums, bilateral and multilateral events, roundtables, banquets and other activities at major international policy and opinion exchange platforms such as the Paris Peace Forum, the World Economic Forum and the Munich Security Conference to promote dialogue and build consensus among international political, business and academic circles. CCG actively engages in "Track II Diplomacy" with the policy, think tank and business communities of various countries, conducts annual research and exchanges in multiple countries, promotes interaction between Chinese and foreign parties, and maintains communication channels with the policymaking parties of various countries.

List of 70 Influential Returnees in 70 years of PRC released
On December 18, 2019, to honor outstanding returnees and encourage students overseas to work and start businesses in China, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) and China Global Talent Society (CGTS) released the list of 70 Influential Returnees in 70 Years of the People’s Republic of China at the 2019 Convention on Exchange of Overseas Talents and 21st Guangzhou Convention of Overseas Chinese Scholars in Science and Technology. It is the fifth year that CCG and CGTS have released this authoritative list at the conference.

CCG launches the Global Fashion and Culture Research Center
A global fashion and culture industry research center was launched by CCG, in cooperation with the Hempel Group and Chinamind Interculture Group, in Beijing on December 2. The center aims to provide intellectual support to boost innovation, sustainable development, and the global competitiveness of China’s fashion industry, advising on global risk, national strategy, industrial development, and public policy.

CCG economic and trade seminar
On Sept. 12, CCG brought together a group of senior economic and trade experts and scholars to a seminar at its headquarters, led by CCG Honorary Chairman and former Minister of Commerce Mr. Chen Deming, to discuss the issues including the Sino-US trade frictions and the impact on global value chain, key issues and solution to the Sino-US economic relations, and the possibilities for China’s accession to CPTPP.

CCG holds seminar on China’s fertility and population policies
On August 27, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) held a seminar with the topic of population and birth policies, bringing together a range of domestic and foreign population experts, public policy experts, medical and clinical experts, economists and scholars to discuss issues on developments in demographic trends in China, current challenges of China’s aging population and fertility policy as well as strategies for its resolutions.
