Digital Trade Think Tank founds at 2nd Global Digital Trade Expo
On November 23rd, the GDTE Digital Trade Think Tank, a joint project by the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) and the Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce that promotes the high-quality development of digital trade, was officially announced at “Digital Trade Night” during the Second Global Digital Trade Expo.

CCG Holds Forum on Global Industrial Supply Chains at CIIE
On November 6, 2023, the 6th China International Import Expo and Hongqiao International Economic Forum sub-forum “Resilient Global Industrial Supply Chains” was successfully held at the National Convention and Exhibition Center in Shanghai, jointly organized by the Ministry of Commerce and the United Nations Global Compact, and co-hosted by CCG and the China International Import and Exposition Bureau.

CCG Releases Talent, Innovation and Industry Chain Resilience Report 2023 at the Import Expo
On November 6, 2023, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) released the Talent, Innovation and Industry Chain Resilience Report 2023 (hereafter Report 2023)at the sub-forum on “Enhancing the Resilience of the Global Industry Chain Supply Chain” of the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) and Hongqiao International Economic Forum (HIEF). The report was drafted and compiled by CCG, a think tank partner of Hongqiao International Economic Forum of the Import and Export Fair.

CCG President Wang Huiyao in Dialogue with Arancha González
On November 3, 2023, Arancha González, former Foreign Minister of Spain and Dean of the Paris School of International Affairs at Sciences Po, visited CCG and participated in a dialogue with CCG President Dr. Henry Huiyao Wang on topics including trends in global trade, the current status and future of the World Trade Organization, the current situation and challenges in China-EU relations, and women’s leadership.

CCG Holds 8th China Global Think Tanks Innovation Forum
The 8th China Global Think Tank Innovation Forum was successfully held in Beijing from October 23-24, 2023, jointly organized by CCG and The Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC). The was the largest in-person exchange for international think tanks in China in the past four years, with nearly 100 representatives from world-renowned think tanks in over 20 countries and regions including China, the US, the UK, Canada, India, Australia, Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East gathered to exchange perspectives on global trends, formulate solutions to global challenges, and envision the more pluralist future.

American young polititians visit CCG
On October 13, 2023, a delegation of American young politicians visited the Center for China and Globalization (CCG)， and had a dialogue with President of CCG Dr. Henry Wang Huiyao,Secretary-General of CCG Dr. Mabel Miao Lu and other CCG experts, along with several members of the Global Young Leaders Dialogue (GYLD) Program. The meeting was very constructive and informative.

CCG Book Release | China Through European Eyes
On September 27, 2023, the book launch event of China Through European Eyes: 800 Years of Cultural and Intellectual Encounter, jointly organized by the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) and China Translation & Publishing Corporation, was held at CCG’s headquarters in Beijing. CCG President Dr Henry Huiyao Wang, President and Chief Editor of China Translation & Publishing House(CTPH) Qiao Weibing, and the author of the book, Professor Kerry Brown, discussed the work and provided their personal insights.
