  • CCG hosts Webinar: ‘China-Pakistan: The Way Forward’

    Beijing, 26 November 2021, Center for China and Globalization hosted the webinar ‘China-Pakistan: The Way Forward – Enhancing Regional Stability and Security under the Belt and Road Vision’. As China and Pakistan celebrate 70 years since the establishment of diplomatic ties, this webinar served to deepen understanding of multiple dimensions of the cooperation, analyze and address existing challenges, and propose potential opportunities for the future.

  • CCG Dialogue with David Lampton on China Laos Railway and BRI

    On November 23, 2021, CCG President Dr. Henry Huiyao Wang spoke with Prof. David M. Lampton (“Mike”) in a dialogue hosted by CCG covering topics such as the importance of infrastructure in modernization and connectivity, development cooperation, regional development and globalization, and the Sino-American relationship.

  • 2021 West Lake Dialogue · Hangzhou

    On November 7, the 2021 West Lake Dialogue was successfully held in Hangzhou. The event was co-sponsored by the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), the CPC Hangzhou Committee, and Hangzhou Municipal People’s Government. It was organized by the Talent Division of the CPC Hangzhou Committee, the CPC Committee of Shangcheng district, and people’s government of Shangcheng district, and joined by representatives from international organizations, international chambers of commerce and multinational companies, and the Global Young Leaders Dialogue (GYLD). Other attendees included entrepreneurs, business executives, and experts from think tanks and academia. Topics of the discussion revolved around common prosperity, talent acquisition and international cooperation. This forum was moderated by Dr. Mabel Miao, CCG secretary-general and founder of GYLD.
