Dialogue on trade among Wendy Cutler, Pascal Lamy & Wang Huiyao
On August 2nd, as part of its 7th Annual China and Globalization Forum, CCG hosted a dialogue on trade between Wendy Cutler, Vice President of Asian Society Policy Institute; former Acting Deputy USTR and Pascal Lamy, former Director-General of the World Trade Organization,President of the Paris Peace Forum and Wang Huiyao, CCG President and Counselor to the State Council. The three distinguished speakers shared their insights on international trade, China’s accession to the WTO and its upcoming WTO reform, fairer vaccine rollouts, global mobility, US-China trade negotiations, EU-US-China trilateral relations.

CCG Track II Diplomatic Exchanges Promoting International Cooperation
The Center for China and Globalization (CCG), as a “non-governmental diplomatic envoy”, has taken the initiative to enhance understanding and bridge differences between China and the world, launching a series of “Track II diplomacy” exchanges with the EU, US, German, Indian, Jordanian and Colombian Ambassadors to China. Both bilateral and multilateral relations were discussed during these meetings, so as to strengthen exchanges, partnership, cooperation among countries.
