CCG hosts GYLD forum on Poverty Reduction
On December 16, 2020, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) held an online forum on poverty reduction as part of the Global Young Leaders Dialogue (GYLD). Global opinion leaders and young global leaders from various fields engaged in dialogue on poverty alleviation, which is the first goal of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Participants discussed how to promote poverty alleviation by strengthening global youth cooperation, utilizing cutting-edge technology, and developing new business models.

60 Countries Diplomats Join in CCG Ambassadors Roundtable
The opening remarks were delivered by Wang Huiyao, president of CCG; H.E. Rahamtalla M. Osman, permanent representative of the African Union (AU) to China; and H.E. Martin Mpana, ambassador of the Republic of Cameroon, dean of African Ambassadors Group. Zhu Min, chairman of the National Institute of Financial Research at Tsinghua University and former deputy managing director of IMF, introduced the highlights of China’s 14th FYP. Ambassadors, counselors and embassy representatives of more than 60 countries discussed the prospects for multilateral economic cooperation, cross-border trade and free trade zones.

CCG & TTCSP Co-host 5th China Global Think Tank Innovation Forum
On November 24, 2020, the fifth Annual China Think Tank Innovation Forum was held in Beijing, organized by the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) and co-hosted by Think Tanks and Civil Society Program (TTCSP) of the University of Pennsylvania. The forum aimed to discuss the latest changes in the world, address pressing issues for global think tanks, explore innovative models for the sustainable development of think tanks, and offer policy recommendations for China and the international community. More than 200 think tank experts participated in the forum through online and offline channels, and 2.6 million viewers from around the world watched the live broadcast of the forum.
