CCG pays close attention to international relations, promotes China and globalization, actively engages in international exchange, and gives full play to its role as a "Track II diplomacy" think tank. Our think tank organizes sub-forums, bilateral and multilateral events, roundtables, banquets and other activities at major international policy and opinion exchange platforms such as the Paris Peace Forum, the World Economic Forum and the Munich Security Conference to promote dialogue and build consensus among international political, business and academic circles. CCG actively engages in "Track II Diplomacy" with the policy, think tank and business communities of various countries, conducts annual research and exchanges in multiple countries, promotes interaction between Chinese and foreign parties, and maintains communication channels with the policymaking parties of various countries.

CCG: Expert advises China to build innovative think tanks
McGann proposed several actions that China needs to take to create global think tanks. First, McGann said that because the vast majority of think tanks are currently housed within the formal structure of the government and focus primarily on government clients, China needs to embrace innovation and institutional diversity and build sectorial, university-affiliated, independent think tanks.

On Oct 13, 2017, Center for China and Globalization (CCG) held a seminar with Mesopotamia Community on the topic of startups of entrepreneurs born after 1990. Both the post 90s entrepreneurs and post 60s, 70s and 80s entrepreneurs attended the seminar and they had a heated discussion on the current trends of startups.
