The series of blue books named Blue Book of Global Talent: Annual Report on the Development of Chinese Students Studying Abroad, published since 2012, and the Blue Book of China International Schools, published since 2016, have been well-received by the public.
CCG also has published a series of research reports, such as Building a New World Cultural Landscape under Global Governance and Education for International Understanding in China: Past, Present and Future, which are closely linked to the pulse of the times, providing timely and relevant recommendations to education-related governmental departments to tackle the opportunities and challenges in educational opening-up. Globalizing China: The Influence, Strategies and Successes of Chinese Returnee Entrepreneurs
This book investigates an emerging phenomenon about returnee entrepreneurship. (Cumming, Sapienza, Siegel, & Wright, 2009), with a focus on Chinese returnee entrepreneurs. It deals with a broad range of issues associated with this phenomenon addressing for instance, the returnee development trajectory, entrepreneurial strategies and key success factors of this important type of entrepreneur. This is discussed in the context of systematic research findings. The pandemic should have been a chance to revive the organisation and prove its relevance during its 75th anniversary. Instead, failure to co-ordinate an effective global response has laid bare its fractures and fragilities. However, that need not be the case for an even greater threat the world faces: climate change.
