CCG promotes innovative new global governance projects at Paris Peace Forum
Initiated by French leader Emmanuel Macron to promote new solutions to global governance, the Paris Peace Forum took place from November 11 to 13. It is planned that the event, which began on the centenary of the end of World War I, becomes an annual platform to discuss peace and international cooperation.

CCG President speaks on Sino-US relations at the New Economy Forum in Singapore
CCG President Wang Huiyao was invited to speak at the inaugural New Economy Forum (NEF) which was held in Singapore from November 6 to 7. Earlier in the day, high-profile speakers including Chinese Vice President Wang Qishan and former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger addressed audiences on the future of the global economy.

CCG co-hosts Zhongguancun Forum on innovation and development
2018 Zhongguancun Forum was held in Beijing from November 2 to 3, bringing together experts from China and abroad to discuss global innovation and high-quality development. The forum, organized by ZGC Development Group and Peakview Capital, was co-hosted by Center for China and Globalization (CCG), Zhongguancun Entrepreneur Advisory Committee, and the Z-Park Industrial Technology Alliance.

President of US National Foreign Trade Council visits CCG, raises concerns about impact of US trade policies
On October 28, CCG hosted a seminar featuring visiting Rufus Yerxa, President of the US National Foreign Trade Council (NFTC) and former Deputy Director General of World Trade Organization (WTO). Entitled “Trade Policy under President Trump – Implications for China and the World”, the discussion was chaired by CCG President Wang Huiyao.
