  • Senior Diplomats from 20 countries discuss China’s green transition

    On October 11, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) held the 2024 fifth edition of the “CCG VIP Luncheon” at the historic Xianhe Hall of the Beijing International Club. The event was moderated by Henry Huiyao Wang, CCG Founder and President and Former Counselor to the State Council of China, and featured keynote speeches by YI Xiaozhun, Former Deputy Director-General of WTO and Former Vice Minister of Commerce of China, and HUO Jianguo, Vice President of the China World Trade Organization Research Association and Former President of the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation (CAITEC).

  • 20 Countries’ Ambassadors & Diplomats Joined CCG Luncheon

    The Center for China and Globalization (CCG) held another CCG VIP Luncheon on September 18, 2024. The luncheon was held in the historic Xianhe Hall of the club and featured Mr. Guangyao ZHU, Former Deputy Minister of Finance, and Mr. Gao XU, Chief Economist of Bank of China International (China) Co., Ltd. The event was moderated by Dr. Henry Huiyao WANG, Founder and President of CCG and Former Counselor to the State Council of China, focusing on China’s future economic development policies.

  • CCG seminar on global governance and the future of China and Africa

    On 29 August 2024, on the eve of the opening of the 9th Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) and Development Reimagined jointly organised a seminar on ‘Reimagining the Current Global Governance System to Work for Africa and Prospects for China-Africa Cooperation’. Diplomats, heads of international organisations, think tank experts, university scholars and nearly 20 media professionals from China and African countries gathered to discuss how China-Africa cooperation can play a greater role in global governance.

  • CCG VIP Luncheon Focuses on the Third Plenum and Future Reforms

    The Center for China and Globalization (CCG), supported by the Beijing International Club, held a third CCG VIP Luncheon on June 24. The luncheon was held in the historic Xianhe Hall of the club and featured Huang Yiping, Boya Distinguished Professor, Dean of the National School of Development, and Director of the Institute of Digital Finance (IDF) at Peking University, and Tu Xinquan, Professor and Dean of the China Institute for WTO Studies at the University of International Business and Economics.
