CCG and ICRC Release Chinese Report on Digital Threats in Armed Conflicts
On December 17, 2024, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) jointly released the Chinese version of the report “Protecting Civilians from Digital Threats During Armed Conflicts.” The report, drafted by the ICRC’s Global Advisory Board on Digital Threats in Armed Conflicts, highlights the threats posed by the digitalization of armed conflicts on civilians, offering practical recommendations to all stakeholders involved.

2024 GYLD Annual Forum successfully held in Beijing
The 2024 Global Young Leaders Dialogue (GYLD) Annual Forum, hosted by the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) with support from the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies (ACCWS), is successfully concluded on December 5 in Beijing. With the theme “Forward Thinking the Way Forward,” the forum brought together global youth leaders to foster cross-cultural dialogue and collectively address critical global affairs and challenges young people are facing.

Wang Huiyao Speaks at Oxford Union as First Chinese Think Tanker
On November 27, 2024, Henry Huiyao Wang, President of the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), became the first Chinese think tank leader ever invited to speak at the Oxford Union, one of the world’s top debating platforms with a history of over 200 years. He delivered a special speech and interviewed by the President of the Oxford Union, followed by a live Q&A session.
