CCG Releases New Book: The Globalization of Chinese Enterprises
Recently, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) released its new book The Globalization of Chinese Enterprises: Trends and Characteristics, written by CCG President Dr. Wang Huiyao and CCG Secretary-General Dr. Miao Lu. This book was published by Springer and draws on nearly 3000 data samples, using both quantitative and qualitative research methods. This book investigates challenges confronted by Chinese enterprises when doing business in foreign countries, presents unique insights into the features and patterns of Chinese enterprises’ globalization, and provides a useful reference for enterprises that have already gone global and those that plan to.

CCG releases 2020 Bluebook Report on Chinese Enterprise Globalization
Recently, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) released the 2020 Bluebook Report on Chinese Enterprise Globalization. Co-authored by CCG and the Development Research Institute of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, this report was edited by Wang Huiyao, CCG president and dean of the Development Research Institute of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, as well as Miao Lu, CCG secretary-general, and published by the Social Sciences Academic Press of the Chinese Academy of Social Science.

Dialogue with Jeremy Rifkin: China’s Role in Building a Global Zero-Carbon Society
On July 7, 2020, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) and the Foundation on Economic Trends (FOET) co-hosted an online discussion with Jeremy Rifkin, well-known economist and The New York Times best-selling author of the book, The Green New Deal: Why the Fossil Fuel Civilisation Will Collapse by 2028, and the Bold Economic Plan to Save Life on Earth.
Jeremy Rifkin spoke on a variety of topics, including the relationship between climate change and epidemics, technological revolution, energy transformations, the economics of sustainable development and a zero-carbon society, new infrastructure, Sino-EU cooperation in ecological civilization, and of course the global green new deal.

Report release: China-US non-governmental cooperation in response to COVID-19: Current conditions, challenges and prospects
On July 6, to promote international anti-pandemic cooperation, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), based on research with the support of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) and the China Friendship Foundation for Peace and Development (CFFPD), released the report China-US non-governmental cooperation in response to COVID-19: Current conditions, challenges and prospects.

Forum in commemoration of 75th anniversary of UN Charter
To commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the signing of the Charter of the United Nations (UN), on June 24, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) co-hosted an online forum titled “Enhancing multilateralism to collectively achieve the sustainable development goals” with the Academy of Contemporary China and the World Studies (ACCWS), the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS), the Dialogue of Civilizations Research Institute (DOC), the Valdai Discussion Club and the British East Asia Council.

CCG new report calls to strengthen multi-level int’l cooperation
On April 5, 2020, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) released the English version of the report “Strensgthen multi-level international cooperation to fight the pandemic”. The report summarized China’s experience in dealing with the outbreak and provided suggestions on global cooperation to fight the virus and its economic fallout. It drew on ongoing research and analysis of the unfolding outbreak and recent seminars CCG has hosted featuring Chinese and foreign experts.
