  • CCG Report | China and the US in the Biden Era

    On January 19, 2017, CCG released the report Trump’s Coming Era: Challenges, Opportunities and Policy Responses. Since then, CCG has continued to concentrate on developments in US politics and China-US relations via multiple track-II trips to Washington DC, numerous events featuring US-China think tank dialogue, and webinars promoting cross-Pacific discussion amidst the pandemic and deteriorating bilateral ties.

With multiple crises looming, questions remain over whether President Biden can restore the role of the US in the world, whether China-US relations can return to a track of greater cooperation, and over the future of globalization.

  • Global Economic Prospects in the Post-Pandemic Era

    On Jan 13, Beijing time / Jan 12, EST, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) invites Ayhan Kose, Acting Vice President of EFI Practice Group and Director of EFI Prospects Group, World Bank and Martin Raiser, World Bank’s Country Director for China and Mongolia and Director for Korea, to discuss Global Economic Prospects online. CCG President WANG Huiyao and YAO Yang, Dean of the China Center for Economic Research (CCER) of Peking University, also join the discussions.

  • CCG releases new book on global talent studies

    Recently, An Introduction to Global Talent Studies, one of a series of textbooks on talent studies of Chinese universities, was published. This book is compiled by Wang Huiyao, president of Center for China and Globalization (CCG), Miao Lu, secretary-general of CCG, and Zheng Jinlian, deputy secretary-general of CCG, and is published by the China Human Resources & Social Security Publishing Group.
