The China and Globalization Forum, launched by CCG in 2015, was China’s first think tank flagship forum focusing on 'a community with a shared future for humankind' and 'China's globalization development.' The China and Globalization Forum is notable as a long-running international think tank event in China, keeping a finger on the pulse of economic globalization.

Every year, hundreds of experts from government, industry, universities and research institutions in the field of globalization from home and abroad participate in the forum to exchange ideas and make recommendations for China to comprehensively deepen reform and opening-up, actively promote globalization and participate in global governance, and build social consensus for a new type of globalization. Many former political leaders, diplomats, representatives of international organizations, and renowned scholars have attended the forum to deliver speeches and exchange ideas.

Themes of previous forums include 'Global Community with a Shared future and New Ideas for Chinese Enterprise Development,' 'Globalization and Chinese Wisdom at the Crossroads,' 'Mutual Shaping and Promoting: the Future of Reform and Opening-up and Globalization,' and “Further Opening-up to Meet New Challenges of Globalization.” In each forum, participants conduct in-depth discussions on a wide range of topics under the theme, and offer suggestions for the promotion of globalization and China's role in the process of globalization. These discussions have been turned into reports and recommendations that have had a positive impact on the development of China and globalization.
