Mabel Lu Miao’s opening remarks @ Global Young Leaders Dialogue Annual Forum 2025
The Global Young Leaders Dialogue Annual Forum 2025 was successfully held in Beijing from November 18 to 20. The event was hosted by the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), co-organized by the Secretariat of the Global Young Leaders Dialogue (GYLD) program, and supported by the Haidian District Human Resources Bureau and the Haidian District Foreign Affairs Office. At the Opening Ceremony on November 19, Dr. Mabel Lu Miao—Co-founder and Secretary-General of CCG, and Founder of the GYLD program—delivered the opening remarks on behalf of the organizer.

From November 5 to 7, 2025, “EU-China Think Tank Exchanges,” a European Unionproject, held a new round of offline seminar in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. Henry Huiyao Wang, Founder and President of the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), delivered closing remarks. Opening keynotes on Green Trade from CCG HQF Sub-forum
On November 6, 2025, during the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) and the Hongqiao International Economic Forum in Shanghai, a parallel session on “Promoting Green Trade Liberalisation and Accelerating the Global Green Transition” was hosted by China’s Ministry of Commerce and organised by the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), where speakers discussed the future of green trade liberalisation, the need for multilateral rule-making, the risks of unilateral trade measures, and the scientific urgency of speeding up the global green transition.
