Since its establishment, CCG has paid close attention to international relations and China's foreign affairs, tracking the development and changes of China's bilateral economic and trade relations with the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America, Australia, the Middle East and other countries and regions, and has been devoted to research on China-US-Europe cooperation, the Belt and Road Initiative, WTO reform, CPTPP and other multilateral topics, as well as providing recommendations for policymaking.
The annual flagship forums held by CCG for successive years have contributed to discussion on China-U.S. relations and China-EU cooperation, promoted international exchange, and given full play to the role of think tanks in track II diplomacy. CCG regularly conducts research and exchanges in multiple countries, and published a series of Chinese and English research reports on China-U.S. economy and trade relations.
The think tank hosts a series of roundtable seminars all year round, and invites think tank experts and scholars, political leaders, business elites and diplomats from the United States, Canada, Britain, Australia, Japan, Germany, Egypt and other countries to discuss and exchange views on international relations and multilateral cooperation.

CCG Webinar | Rebooting the BRI amidst the pandemic
On August 26, 2020, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) held a webinar on the theme “Rebooting the Belt and Road Initiative amidst the pandemic: Challenges, prospects, and innovations.” The event featured leading scholars and experts discussing topics such as the social and economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the role of Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area in facilitating the sustainable BRI investments in response to the pandemic. CCG holds seminar on China’s fertility and population policies
On August 27, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) held a seminar with the topic of population and birth policies, bringing together a range of domestic and foreign population experts, public policy experts, medical and clinical experts, economists and scholars to discuss issues on developments in demographic trends in China, current challenges of China’s aging population and fertility policy as well as strategies for its resolutions.

Former Hong Kong Finance Secretary Antony Leung Speaks about Hong Kong’s Future at CCG
The Year 2017 is the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong's "return" to China. In view of this significant historical event, the Center for China and Globalization Think Tank (CCG) invited Mr. Antony Leung Kam-chung, CCG's vice chairman and former Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, to discuss Hong Kong's future at the headquarters on March 16.
