American young polititians visit CCG
On October 13, 2023, a delegation of American young politicians visited the Center for China and Globalization (CCG)， and had a dialogue with President of CCG Dr. Henry Wang Huiyao,Secretary-General of CCG Dr. Mabel Miao Lu and other CCG experts, along with several members of the Global Young Leaders Dialogue (GYLD) Program. On September 27, 2023, the book launch event of China Through European Eyes: 800 Years of Cultural and Intellectual Encounter, jointly organized by the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) and China Translation & Publishing Corporation, was held at CCG’s headquarters in Beijing. BRICS 2023: Outcomes, Opportunities and Expectations in a Changing World Order
On September 1st 2023, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) hosted the CCG Dialogue, “BRICS 2023: Outcomes, Opportunities and Expectations in a Changing World Order”. Experts from the BRICS founding member countries, including BRICS South Africa Sherpa Ambassador Prof. Anil Sooklal , were invited to discuss key outcomes, potential opportunities and growing expectations as the bloc grows in impact and outreach.

GYLD 2023 Annual Forum successfully held
On August 12th, 2023, International Youth Day, the “Global Young Leaders Dialogue (GYLD)” Annual Forum was held in Beijing. With the theme of “Global Development and the Power of Youth,” the forum gathered over 150 participants, including international young professionals, experts, scholars, embassy representatives, international organization delegates, business leaders, and media professionals from nearly 30 countries and regions. During the event, attendees engaged in discussions and shared insights on topics such as cross-cultural communication, climate change and urban sustainability, with an effort to exchange ideas and contribute to global development.

Thoughts Shared on Advancing ASEAN-China CSP
On 6 August 2023, the highly anticipated themed forum of ASEAN-China Week 2023 was successfully held in Fuzhou, Fujian Province. The forum, titled “A Forward-looking ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP) in the New Era,” brought together nearly 300 participants in attendance, including high-ranking dignitaries, government officials, think tank experts and media representatives from both China and ASEAN Member States (AMS), and diplomatic envoys from AMS in China.
