Roundtables
CCG pays close attention to international relations, promotes China and globalization, actively engages in international exchange, and gives full play to its role as a "Track II diplomacy" think tank. Our think tank organizes sub-forums, bilateral and multilateral events, roundtables, banquets and other activities at major international policy and opinion exchange platforms such as the Paris Peace Forum, the World Economic Forum and the Munich Security Conference to promote dialogue and build consensus among international political, business and academic circles. CCG actively engages in "Track II Diplomacy" with the policy, think tank and business communities of various countries, conducts annual research and exchanges in multiple countries, promotes interaction between Chinese and foreign parties, and maintains communication channels with the policymaking parties of various countries.

CCG and BRIJC Roundtable: Future of Sino-Japanese relations and 40th anniversary of the bilateral peace treaty
On September 14, the Center for China & Globalization (CCG) and the Belt and Road Initiative Japan Research Center (BRIJC) held a joint seminar to mark the 40th anniversary of the signing of China-Japan Treaty of Peace and Friendship and to explore cooperation between the two countries.

CCG holds discussion with delegation from Belt and Road countries
A group of scholars from the Belt and Road Countries visited the Center for China and Globalization on Oct. 18 and held a discussion with Chinese fellows regarding the Belt and Road initiative and global governance from various perspectives based on the situation of their respective countries.

Foreign trade and economic officials visit CCG for multilateral trade system discussion
On Oct. 17, the Center for China and Globalization hosted at its headquarters a group of foreign government officials for trade and economic affairs led by New Zealand Vice Minister of Trade and Economy Vangelis Vitalis and held a discussion about the prospect of the Cross-Pacific Trade Partnership Pact and the agenda for the modernization of multilateral trade system.

Michigan University delegation visits CCG
On Nov. 19, CCG hosted a delegation from the Kenneth G. Lieberthal and Richard H. Rogel Center for Chinese Studies at the University of Michigan visited its headquarters and held a discussion with them about the 40th years of China reform and opening-up and China-US relations.

CCG hosts premier of documentary on China-US relations
On Nov. 24, CCG co-hosted a premier of a documentary on the China-US relations, titled “Better Angel”, and a seminar to discuss the future of the bilateral relations, which brought together over 400 politicians, business leaders, academic experts and media professionals, including US Ambassador to China Terry Branstad.

On Nov.20, former US Deputy Secretary of State and Vice Chairman of Kissinger Associates Robert Hormats visited the CCG headquarters to attend the roundtable forum on “China-US Trade and Investment Relations after Mid-term elections”.

As a hub of Sino-US exchange, Center for China and Globalization(CCG) hosted a delegation of visiting veteran US journalists Gerry Holmes, Managing Editor of Enterprise at NPR; Gary Rosen, Editor of Review at the Wall Street Journal; Amy Walter, National Editor at The Cook Political Report; Jonathan Landman, Managing Editor at Bloomberg Opinion, organized by the Asia Society, in Beijing on December 3.
