Since its establishment, CCG has paid close attention to international relations and China's foreign affairs, tracking the development and changes of China's bilateral economic and trade relations with the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America, Australia, the Middle East and other countries and regions, and has been devoted to research on China-US-Europe cooperation, the Belt and Road Initiative, WTO reform, CPTPP and other multilateral topics, as well as providing recommendations for policymaking.
The annual flagship forums held by CCG for successive years have contributed to discussion on China-U.S. relations and China-EU cooperation, promoted international exchange, and given full play to the role of think tanks in track II diplomacy. CCG regularly conducts research and exchanges in multiple countries, and published a series of Chinese and English research reports on China-U.S. economy and trade relations.
The think tank hosts a series of roundtable seminars all year round, and invites think tank experts and scholars, political leaders, business elites and diplomats from the United States, Canada, Britain, Australia, Japan, Germany, Egypt and other countries to discuss and exchange views on international relations and multilateral cooperation.

Annual Meeting of the China Outbound Forum Held in Sanya
The Second Meeting of the China Outbound Forum was held on Nov. 20-22nd at the InterContinental Sanya Resort in Hainan province. The event was put on by the Center for China & Globalization and co-sponsored by China Association for International Economic Cooperation, China Global Talent Society, and Smadja & Smadja Strategic Consulting firm.

The Inaugural Meeting of China Outbound Forum Starts in Sanya
The inaugural meeting of the China Outbound investment Forum was successfully concluded on Nov. 23rd in Sanya, the world-famous resort city on scenic Hainan Island off the southeast coast of China. During the two-day conference, over 300 influential movers and shakers, including senior government officials, business executives, and academic experts from China and abroad, conducted an intensive and very fruitful high-level dialogue regarding the future direction of globalization among Chinese firms.

60 Countries Diplomats Join in CCG Ambassadors Roundtable
The opening remarks were delivered by Wang Huiyao, president of CCG; H.E. Rahamtalla M. Osman, permanent representative of the African Union (AU) to China; and H.E. Martin Mpana, ambassador of the Republic of Cameroon, dean of African Ambassadors Group. Zhu Min, chairman of the National Institute of Financial Research at Tsinghua University and former deputy managing director of IMF, introduced the highlights of China’s 14th FYP. Ambassadors, counselors and embassy representatives of more than 60 countries discussed the prospects for multilateral economic cooperation, cross-border trade and free trade zones.
