As a pioneer “new type of think tank with Chinese characteristics,” CCG is dedicated to researching think tank theories and continuously innovating management practices, promoting the innovative development of Chinese think tanks, and promoting academic exchanges and management experience sharing between Chinese think tanks and academic experts and international top think tanks through multiple channels. Over the past ten years, CCG has been actively learning from cutting-edge ideas and management practices of international top think tanks, and has been exploring new ways to meet the needs of Chinese think tanks by sending visiting scholars, "going global" international exchange, organizing the annual China Global Think Tank Innovation Forum, and seminars for international top think tanks, publishing research works, and cooperating with international think tanks. CCG has developed into one of the leading non-governmental think tanks in China.

As a leading Chinese global think tank, CCG is committed to research in the fields of globalization and international relations, and maintains close relations with embassies of various countries. At this critical stage of the world’s economic and social recovery following the COVID-19 pandemic, CCG President Dr. Wang Huiyao communicated face-to-face with the ambassadors of 25 countries to China, reflecting the role of think tanks in Track II Diplomacy. From November 11-12, 2020, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) held the 6th China and Globalization Forum in Beijing, China. AGTO launched at the Third Paris Peace Forum
At the Paris Peace Forum, the Alliance of Global Talent Organizations, an international non-governmental organization proposed by the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), completed its soft launch with an expert discussion on November 13. As a new platform for knowledge-sharing and capacity-building and to facilitate international dialogue on global talent mobility, the AGTO addresses a significant gap in global governance and responds to challenges in global cooperation on talent flow, now further intensified by the global pandemic.

60 Countries Diplomats Join in CCG Ambassadors Roundtable
The opening remarks were delivered by Wang Huiyao, president of CCG; H.E. Rahamtalla M. Osman, permanent representative of the African Union (AU) to China; and H.E. Martin Mpana, ambassador of the Republic of Cameroon, dean of African Ambassadors Group. Zhu Min, chairman of the National Institute of Financial Research at Tsinghua University and former deputy managing director of IMF, introduced the highlights of China’s 14th FYP. Ambassadors, counselors and embassy representatives of more than 60 countries discussed the prospects for multilateral economic cooperation, cross-border trade and free trade zones.
