CCG VIP Luncheon Focuses on the Third Plenum and Future Reforms
The Center for China and Globalization (CCG) held a third CCG VIP Luncheon on July 24. The luncheon was held in the historic Xianhe Hall of the club and featured Huang Yiping, Boya Distinguished Professor, Dean of the National School of Development, and Director of the Institute of Digital Finance (IDF) at Peking University, and Tu Xinquan, Professor and Dean of the China Institute for WTO Studies at the University of International Business and Economics.

Escaping Thucydides’ Trap and Developing Stable Major-Country Relations
On Friday, March 22, 2024, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) held a book launch event and a seminar titled “Escaping Thucydides’s Trap and Developing Stable Major-Country Relations”, during which CCG released its latest book Escaping Thucydides’s Trap: Dialogue with Graham Allison on China-US Relations, published by Palgrave Macmillan, as well as its a Chinese edition, published by CITIC Press Group. This book launch was hosted by CCG with support from CITIC Press Group and Palgrave Macmillan.

The Center for China and Globalization (CCG) convened a side event titled “China, Europe, and the United States: Climate Cooperation in an Era of Great Power Politics” at the60th Munich Security Conference 2024. This event, held on Saturday, February 17, brought together over 30 high-level participants to discuss the critical role of international collaboration among major powers – particularly China, the EU, and the U.S. – in addressing climate change.

CCG Holds 9th China and Globalization Forum
Beijing, September 21, 2023 - The 9th China and Globalization Forum, a significant event in the Center for China and Globalization's (CCG) 15th-anniversary series, successfully concluded in Beijing. After two years, the forum returned to its offline format, drawing over 200 distinguished guests, including policymakers, diplomats, international organization representatives, experts, scholars, industry leaders, and media from across the globe. The forum provided a platform for robust discussions on pressing international issues, aiming to foster consensus and provide recommendations for China's deepening reform, active participation in globalization, and engagement in global governance.
