11th China Inbound-Outbound Forum
The China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) 2024 was held from 12 to 16 September at the China National Convention Centre (CNCC). During this period, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) and the Beijing ‘Two Zones’ co-hosted the Beijing ‘Two Zones’ Development and China Inbound-Outbound Forum (11th China Inbound-Outbound Forum) on Saturday, 14 September.

CCG VIP Luncheon Focuses on the Third Plenum and Future Reforms
The Center for China and Globalization (CCG) held a third CCG VIP Luncheon on July 24. The luncheon was held in the historic Xianhe Hall of the club and featured Huang Yiping, Boya Distinguished Professor, Dean of the National School of Development, and Director of the Institute of Digital Finance (IDF) at Peking University, and Tu Xinquan, Professor and Dean of the China Institute for WTO Studies at the University of International Business and Economics.

World Bank Chief Economist Discusses Economic Development at CCG
On January 17, 2024, Aaditya Mattoo, Chief Economist for the East Asia and Pacific region at the World Bank, visited the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) to discuss the origins, impacts and solutions of the new trade protectionism with CCG Vice President Mike Liu. The discussion also explored how governments can better respond to the current economic situation.

On 13 December, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) presented a global dialogue series featuring the visiting former Director-General of WTO Mr. Pascal Lamy. Mr. Lamy, President of CCG Dr. WANG Huiyao and interlocutors who are China's top international trade experts brought their unique perspectives on the challenges facing the global trading system and their impacts on the world in 2024.

CCG President Wang Huiyao in Dialogue with Arancha González
On November 3, 2023, Arancha González, former Foreign Minister of Spain and Dean of the Paris School of International Affairs at Sciences Po, visited CCG and participated in a dialogue with CCG President Dr. Henry Huiyao Wang on topics including trends in global trade, the current status and future of the World Trade Organization, the current situation and challenges in China-EU relations, and women's leadership.
