Zhang Shanhui, a French-speaking TV anchor, commentator, and journalist at CGTN (China Global Television Network), previously served as the French-language broadcaster for the closing ceremony of the 24th Winter Olympics. She has interviewed several international political figures, such as the then Prime Minister of Côte d’Ivoire, Patrick Achi, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Christophe Lutundula Apala, receiving high attention from international media. Zhang has also hosted significant international events, including the UN Day Youth Dialogue in Beijing and the Sino-Swiss Economic Forum. Her reports and interviews have been broadcast over 380 times by foreign media, and she has published more than twenty articles on topics such as geopolitics, international economics, and development. Zhang holds a Master’s degree from the Sorbonne University in France and a Bachelor’s degree from Renmin University of China. She is proficient in French and English, with additional language skills in Spanish and German.
