Accompanying H.E. Ambassador Dr. Akçapar on his visit to CCG were H.E. H.E. Ambassador Dr. Akçapar shared Turkey’s stance and considerations on hot international issues such as the war in Ukraine and the Gaza conflict. Henry recalled Ambassador Musa’s use of the term “like-minded” during his visit to CCG on February 26 to describe China and Turkey, noting that both are developing countries and emerging market nations with extensive mutual interests and that relations between China and Turkey have maintained a good momentum of development in recent years.

H.E. Ambassador Dr. Akçapar welcomed CCG’s continued role as an important non-governmental think tank and encouraged relevant Turkish entities to participate in the 10th China and Globalization Forum, which will be held from May 25 to 26 in Beijing by CCG. He also warmly invited CCG to the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, introducing it as one of the largest similar forums in the world that has become a focused platform for countries from the “Global South” to voice their perspectives.
