On November 23, hosted by the Hangzhou Municipal People’s Government and the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province, organized by the Center for China & Globalization (CCG), the “CCG Digital Trade Roundtable” will take place during the 2nd Global Digital Trade Expo in Hangzhou, Zhejiang.
The conference will invite representatives from international organizations, and international business association delegates to engage in discussions centered around the theme of “New cooperation and opportunities in global digital trade”. Throughout the proceedings, attending delegates will place particular emphasis on issues pertaining to the formulation of contemporary regulations and standards governing global digital trade, the emerging trends in digital financial services, the facilitation of cross-border data flow, the governance of digital security, and the digital infrastructure development of products and services.
Subsequent to the roundtable discussion, distinguished participants will be honored as special guests at the “Digital Trade Night” and actively partake in the inaugural ceremony of the “Digital Trade Think Tank” organized by the Digital Trade Fair.
On November 24th, the Chinese and foreign enterprise delegates will tour the Fuchun Mountain Health City at Tonglu, Hangzhou and engage in discussions with representatives from the Tonglu Economic Development Zone. In the afternoon, the CCG Yangtze River Delta Research Center will convene a symposium, gathering distinguished representatives from international organizations, global business chambers, and Chinese and foreign enterprises to engage in a comprehensive exploration of the theme, “Doing Business in China: Why lower-tier markets matter”.
The symposium will delve deeply into the exploration of the distinctive features and potential of Tonglu within the backdrop of digital technology-driven county economic development. It will specifically address topics such as the nuanced integration of agriculture, culture, tourism, and sports along the path of rural revitalization and common prosperity as well as the emerging requirements and advancements in the integration digital technologies and the real economy within county-characteristic industries.
