The Paris Peace Forum was created in 2018, with support from President Macron and the European Union, as a platform that completes the existing world agenda of seeking multilateral solutions to global governance problems. Speakers:

Justin Vaïsse, Founder and Director-General of the Paris Peace Forum, Justin Vaïsse previously led the Centre for Analysis, Planning and Strategy at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2013-2019. Justin Vaïsse also served as Director of Research at the Brookings Institution in Washington (2007-2013), with a focus on transatlantic relations and European foreign policy. A historian specialized in international relations and American foreign policy, Dr. Vaïsse has written, and co-authored numerous works translated in multiple languages, and has held teaching positions at the Paris School of International Affairs of Sciences Po, and School of Advanced International Studies of Johns Hopkins University.

 

Dr. Henry Huiyao Wang is Founder and President of the Center for China and Globalization (CCG). He was a Counselor to the China State Council and a Vice Chairman of China Association for International Economic Cooperation (CAIEC). He is Vice Chairman of China Public Relations Association. He is also a Director of Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs. He is a Professor and Dean of the Institute of Development at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics in China.  He was a Senior Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School and was a Visiting Fellow at Brookings Institution.He is a Steering Committee Member of Paris Peace Forum. He is the editor of Springer-Nature China and Globalization Series. He has published over 100 books in English and Chinese along with hundreds of journal articles and opinion pieces on global relations, global governance, global migration, China outbound and inbound investment and trade, Chinese Diasporas and Chinese think tanks.
