Facing the severe shocks of COVID-19, we need to work together to steer global development toward a new stage of balanced, coordinated and inclusive growth. We need to increase input in development, advance on a priority basis cooperation on poverty alleviation, food security, COVID-19 response and vaccines, development financing, climate change and green development, industrialization, digital economy and connectivity, among other areas, and accelerate implementation of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, so as to build a global community of development with a shared future.

On May 13th,Shandong Provincial People’s Government,Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), All-China Youth Federation and China Soong Ching Ling Foundation,The Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Shandong Province,Center for China and Globalization will co-host Global Youth Conference 2022.

As the world faces a multitude of new challenges, together, our people, and especially our youth, hold the key to a better future for humankind. In this spirit, Global Youth Conference 2022, centered on the role of youth in leading the green transition in the regional economic development, will cover a wide range of topics including innovation and entrepreneurship, ecological preservation, green finance and green technology, and international cooperation for a sustainable future.
