CCG Invited to MONGOLIAN FORUM
October 25 , 2021Convened by Blue Banner, Global Peace Foundation, One Korea Foundation, Action for Korea United, and the Mongolian Forum for Korean Unification, the three-day “Mongolian Forum on Northeast Asian Peaceful Development and Korean Unification” hosted virtually on October 25-27”. International scholars, policymakers, current and former diplomats, economists, and civil society leaders convened for six sessions.
Dr. Mabel MIAO, Co-Founder and Secretary General of Center for China and Globalization (CCG) and Founder and Secretary General of the Global Young Leaders Dialogue (GYLD) program delivered a speech at the opening session. In her speech, Dr. Miao said that as a Chinese non-governmental think, with the ideas of“ Global Vision for China, Chinese Wisdom for the World” rooted in the heart, CCG believes that dialogues and interactions may deepen understandings of each other and reduce the risk of confrontation. She also shared the original aspiration and vision of initiating GYLD program.
Others attending the opening session include H.E. Jargalsaikhan Enkhsaikhan, Chairman of Blue Banner and Former Mongolian Ambassador to UN; H.E. Ochirbat Punsalmaagiin, Former President of Mongolia; Mr. James Flynn, International President of Global Peace Foundation; Dr. Jai-poong Ryu, Founder and President of One Korea Foundation; Mr. Inteck Seo, Co-Chair, Action for Korea United; Congressman GK Butterfield, Member of US House of Representative and Dr. Hyun-ik Hong, Chancellor, Korea National Diplomatic Academy etc.
Mr. Zhao Zhanjie, Project Manager of Global Young Leaders Dialogue (GYLD) program and Senior Manager of Center for China and Globalization, was invited to attend the sixth session themed “Youth Leadership in Northeast Asian Peaceful Development”. This session presented stories of young leaders confronting personal, social, and environmental challenges on a path for meaning and positive social change. Mr. Zhao shared his private experiences during his full participation in Global Young Leaders Dialogue (GYLD) program.
