CCG cohosts awarding ceremony of the 2021 CSIA

The awarding ceremony of the 2021 China Social Impact Awards (CSIA) was celebrated on September 16th evening at InterContinental Beijing Sanlitun.
Organised by the British Chamber of Commerce in China in partnership with the United Nations, the CSIA is a biannual award to recognise the positive impact companies and organisations of all industries, sizes, and national origin have had on society and the environment in China to deliver a better and more sustainable future for all in China and beyond.
CCG co-hosted this evet and Dr. Wang Huiyao, President of CCG delivered a video message to the event. Dr. Mabel Miao, Secretay-general of CCG was also invited to the event onsite.
The calibre of submissions was truly inspiring. More than 200 submissions were received from Chinese and foreign organisations spanning the world’s largest firms to young start-ups.
The China Social Impact Awards 2021 recognised companies across seven categories: Community and Culture; Employee Engagement; Empowerment of Women; Environmental Impact; Equality in Education; Rural Revitalisation; and Universal Healthcare.
The gala dinner and awards ceremony was attended by over 280 distinguished guests including senior representatives from the United Nations, government, business, and non-government organisations.
