Former inspector and deputy director of the Talent Work Bureau of the Central Organization Department
Li Zhigang, former inspector and deputy director of the Talent Work Bureau of the Central Organization Department, special researcher of the National Party Construction Research Association, distinguished professor of Southwest Jiaotong University, and former deputy director of the Office of the Central Talent Work Coordination Group. He has successively engaged in cadre and organization policy theoretical research and drafting of important manuscripts in the Research Office, the 5th Bureau of Cadres, and the General Office of the Central Organization Department. Since 2004, he has been engaged in the macro guidance of national talent work, major policy research and formulation, and publicity of talent theory. Participated in the preparation of the “National Medium and Long-term Talent Development Plan Outline (2010-2020)”, mainly responsible for the talent team construction plan and major talent engineering design work. Responsible for the research and drafting of the Central Committee’s “Opinions on Deepening the Reform of the System and Mechanism for Talent Development” and “Opinions on Encouraging and Guiding Talents to Move to the Frontline of Hard-to-reach and Remote Areas and Grassroots”. He successively published more than 50 research articles about party construction theory, personnel system reform on cadres and talent work in newspapers.
