He then added that Qingdao is undergoing a major economic transformation and faces new challenges, which call for expert and democratic decision-making. The municipal government is glad to be able to draw upon the services of first-rate think tanks like NCGTI and CCG to improve its policy-making process. That, in turn, provides NCGTI with an excellent opportunity to further grow and develop as a think tank with special Qingdao characteristics.
North China Global Talent Institute is the first international think tank in Shandong Province introduced by the Qingdao Administration of Human Resource and Social Security and the only CCG affiliated and supported group in Northern China. With the backing of the CCG, the North China Global Talent Institute focuses on studying the globalization of Chinese talent in a Chinese regional cultural context to help local governments to shape human resource policies. Through supporting research projects, holding forums and seminars, and conducting worker training programs, North China Global Talent Institute has emerged as the best platform for international talent exchange and for offering advance to both businesses and local governments in Northern China in these matters.
