CCG President Dr. Wang Huiyao invited to join advisory board for Shenzhen Qianhai Talent Trial Zone

On Dec. 30, 2014, CCG President Dr. Wang Huiyao attended the first annual seminar of the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone on talent management, joining other experts and business leaders to form an advisory board for the Qianhai Talent Trial Zone.
On Dec. 30, 2014, CCG President Dr. Wang Huiyao attended the first annual seminar of the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone on talent management, joining other experts and business leaders to form an advisory board for the Qianhai Talent Trial Zone.

The event was co-sponsored by the Shenzhen municipal government and Qianghai Authority and brought together the government officials at all levels and top domestic experts on talent management, as well as the representatives of industry associations in over 50 sectors. The issues discussed included talent management system reform, Shenzhen-Hong Kong talent cooperation, and building favorable environment for talent cultivation. As one of the 14 speakers at the seminar, Wang delivered a presentation on the globalization of talent.

Wang accepted the invitation to serve as an advisor to the Qianhai Talent Trial Zone, a key reform program initiated by the Qianhai Authority. Other board members include Ms. Cai Huiqin, the former president of Hong Kong Institute of Human Resources Management, Mr. Zhan Xinmin, the director of the Institute of Human Resources Management at the South China Normal University, and Mr. Peter Kung, KPMG’s senior partner in South China.

The Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone, which is a special area comprising around 15 sq kilometers in Shenzhen, China, was established to promote innovation in modern service industry and pilot cooperation projects between Mainland China and Hong Kong. The Qianhai Talent Trial Zone was created in 2013 as a test field for talent management reform and has provided valuable implications for the national talent strategy.
