CCG promotes exchanges, cooperation with Indonesian thinktanks

The Center for China & Globalization hosted guests from eight Indonesian think tanks on May 14th at its Beijing headquarters. During this meeting, the Indonesian visitors and CCG discussed potential areas in which they can enhance future cooperation. Both sides agreed to establish a platform to promote scholarly exchange and work together on regional and international conferences and other events. President Xi Jinping proposed the “21st Century Maritime Silk Road” during a recent visit to Indonesia, a country that is slated to play a key key role in this initiative. Establishing a strong partnership between Chinese and Indonesian think tanks can therefore provide further impetus he implementation of the “Maritime Silk Road” initiative.
