Dr. Henry Zou graduated with a Ph.D. degree from McMaster University in Canada in 1990. He used to conduct research on high-tech materials in the Canadian Institute of Nuclear Energy Research.
Henry Group was originally established in 1992, and during the last 23 years has developed into the specialized fields of real estate development in the U.S., real estate investment funds, overseas home purchasing, immigration and education services and international business consulting. Henry Group has continued to grow having invested in more than 70 real estate projects with direct investment and financing amounts over 5 billion USD and total assets of over 20 billion USD. Led by Dr. Henry Zou, Henry Group has cooperated with Fortune 500 companies such as Greenland Group, Wanda Group, Bank of China and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, pioneering the exploitation of the EB-5 fund to achieve low-cost financing for North American real estate development. In Jan. 2016, Henry Group won the 2015 Hurun Best Dollar Asset Allocation Award. Under the leadership of Dr. Henry Zou, Henry Group continues to grow, successfully transitioning to become the largest organization of immigration & study and overseas education, as well as the largest Chinese North America real estate developer and financing investor.
Dr. Henry Zou is a well-known social activist, awarded the Elizabeth II Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee Medals, “2013 Top-10 Innovation Persons of China Reforms” and other major awards. He was warmly received by the former Chinese Chairman Jiang Zemin, former Prime Minister Wen Jiabao and the Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper along with other leaders. In January 2013, Dr. Zou met with the Obamas. In September 2015, at the Davos Forum in Dalian, he communicated with Prime Minister Li Keqiang, and in the same month, was invited to attend in the 70th UN General Assembly, listening to a speech addressed by Chairman Xi Jinping in New York.
