【CGTN】Overseas Chinese Returnees

In Recent years, many graduates in China had selected to begin their careers overseas to find job and better life styles over there. Attracting and keeping those talents had become a key issue for many nations, including China. Statistics show in 2016 alone there are 544,500 Chinese left the country for education, 36% increase for just four years ago. Back 20 years ago, many young people choose to go abroad to study and even work there. But now still many young people go west to study and work, but problem is many of them may coming back to China. So why did they choose to come back? Is it because of career opportunities or better life here? and what challenges does it posed to local job market?
The Big Picture Studio invited Dr. Wang Huiyao, President of Center for China and Globalization (CCG), to shares his opinions about phenomenons of the overseas returnees, and measures to attracting talents from 7 billion population around the world.
