Associate Dean of Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation
Ms. Zhao Hong is currently the Senior Research Fellow and Deputy Director of the Institute of International Economic Law of Peking University and Executive Director of the WTO Law Research Center of Peking University. She worked in the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation and the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China for a long time.
She has worked in the Department of Treaty and Law, the Office of International Trade Negotiations, the Anti-Monopoly Bureau, the Permanent Mission of China to the World Trade Organization and the World Trade Organization. Since January 2004, she has served as assistant negotiator (Deputy Director) of the Office of International Trade Negotiations of the Ministry of Commerce, Deputy Director of the Anti-Monopoly Bureau and Minister Counselor of the Permanent Mission of China to the World Trade Organization, the World Trade Organization Division of the Ministry of Commerce negotiator. Zhao is currently Vice President of China Institute of International Trade and Economic Cooperation and a member of the Expert Group on Dispute Settlement Mechanism of the World Trade Organization.
Ms. Zhao graduated from Peking University Law School with a Bachelor of Laws degree in Peking University in 1991, and a Master of Laws degree from Peking University in 1993, and a Doctor of Laws degree from Peking University in 1996.
