Mrs Zhou, Senior Fellow at Center for China and Globalization, Senior Fellow at Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies, Renmin University of China. She served as Director of the Asia-Africa Development Research Institute (AADRI) at the Development Research Center (DRC) of the State Council. She is Trustee and Director of the Center for Ecological Security Studies at China Foundation for International Studies, Vice-President of the China-Asia-Africa Development and Exchange Association, Vice President of the China Association for African Studies, Executive Director of China International Association for Urban and Rural Development, Director of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.
