Zhang Xudong, Professor of East Asian Studies, Comparative Literature at New York University. he earned his Beachelor degree of Chinese language and Literature from Peking University, and Ph.D. of Literature from Duke University. Professor Zhang’s research areas includes Modern Chinese literature and culture, critical theory, film & intellectual discourses, literary theory & aesthetics, political & philosophical discourses of modernity.
