CCG participates in the fifth annual meeting of the Astana Club
On November 11-12, 2019, the Nazarbayev Center in Kazakhstan hosted the fifth annual meeting of the Astana Club, the largest platform for discussing geopolitical and security issues in the region. Under the theme “Greater Eurasia: On the Way to a New Architecture for Global Cooperation,” the fifth meeting of the club was organized by the Institute of World Economy and Politics and the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy.

CCG signed a strategic cooperation agreement with EU-Asia centre
On November 18 2019, EU-Asia Centre and Center for China and Globalization (CCG) signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Brussels, Belgium. Piet Steel, President of the EU-Asia Center; Rui Yan, Head of culture and education, and Miao Lu, secretary-general of CCG attended the signing ceremony.

CCG Secretary-General joins the Munich Young Leaders
From February 14th to 16th, the twelfth generation of Munich Young Leaders gathered in the 56th Munich Security Conference (MSC). Mabel Miao, co-founder and secretary-general of CCG, has been recognized as one of the “2020 Munich Young Leaders” - the only Chinese among 25 “Munich Young Leaders” selected from more than 20 nations.

CCG co-hosts Maritime Security Roundtable at the 2020 MSC
To promote better understanding between China and the West, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) and Center of Excellence for Operations in Confined and Shallow Waters (COE CSW) of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) co-organized a side event at the 56th Munich Security Conference (MSC) under the theme of “Bridging troubled waters - alleviating conflict potential in the South China Sea” on February 14, 2020, in Munich, Germany.
