China could help US rebuild aging infrastructure, thinktank says
China and the United States will both benefit if they work together on infrastructure construction, a top think tank reported on April 5.

The recent meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and his US counterpart Donald Trump in Florida concluded with both sides saying it put bilateral ties on track. Xinhua News Agency said that during the meeting, Xi urged the two countries to push forward the negotiation on the Bilateral Investment Treaty, promote healthy bilateral trade and investment, explore and develop pragmatic cooperation in infrastructure and energy fields.

China should be cautious with financial globalization
Discussions about globalization in the Chinese mainland are quite different from those in the US. In the mainland, the discussion basically focuses on the real economy or manufacturing. But big US companies already brought their manufacturing to other countries around the world several decades ago. In the US, the talk about globalization is mainly about finance, but it is rare to hear about financial globalization in China, and the difference is worth thinking about.
