CCG Releases New Book on Globalization vs De-globalization
CCG’s bookshelf adds one more its publication on April 20, 2017. The new book, titled Globalization vs. Deglobalization: Challenges and Opportunities for Government and Enterprises, is a collection of insights of 20 CCG scholars’ on how to cope with the rising trend of de-globalization.

CCG Scholars Optimistic about Future of China-France Relations after Presidential Election
Independent candidate Emmanuel Macron will become France's next president, after he defeated his far-right rival Marine Le Pen by a wide margin on May 7. Right after the election was concluded, CCG held a roundtable seminar to discuss the prospect of globalization and the impact on the implementation of “One Belt, One Road” initiatives.

ADBI Dean Speaks at CCG about Infrastructure Project Financing in Asia
Infrastructure construction is a key element in the Belt and Road Initiative. Dr. Yoshino proposed to attract private financing to Infrastructure Investment by injecting spillover tax revenues. Taking the STAR highway project in the Philippines for instance, he proved the spillover effect of the infrastructure building investment can effectively increase tax revenue, and part of the profits can be shared with the investors. Using the railway project in Uzbekistan, he emphasized that connectivity can expand the spillover effect, especially the connectivity of the markets.
