Sean Ding is a non-resident fellow at CCG. Mr. Ding is Co-Founder and CEO of The Dialogue Group, a global advisory firm specializing in China's outbound investment. Previously, Sean served as a Communications Officer at the World Bank, where he led the strategic communications work for the Bank's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice. From 2008-2014, Sean was Senior Associate to the China Program of The Carter Center, an Atlanta-based nonprofit organization founded by former U.S. President Jimmy Carter. At The Carter Center, Sean led the design and implementation of projects related to U.S.-China relations, Africa-China relations, government transparency, and rural governance. Sean also assisted President and Mrs. Carter on China-related issues, including staffing three presidential visits.
Sean holds a BA in Arabic and Foreign Service from Beijing Foreign Studies University, an MA in political science from Georgia State University, and an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
