Huang Hui graduates 1982 from Amoy University, major in computer science. In 1985, He was admitted to University of Bonn, German for post-graduate and received Ph.D degree in Applied Mathematics in 1989. Then he worked at Hoechst (then Global 500 Company) in its consulting department.
In 1996, Huang was hired by KPMG for its consulting business in Japan. In 1998, he heads KPMG Consulting Japan as its Managing Director. He made KPMG Consulting Japan a well-regarded consulting company in Japan in supply chain management consulting. In 2001, he was promoted to Senior Vice President of KPMG Consulting Global, heads both the High Tech and CPG sector as well as its Greater China business as CEO. In 2002, he led the acquisition of Arthur Anderson Business Consulting and made KPGM Consulting the biggest management and IT consulting firm in Greater China. KPMG Consulting was renamed BearingPoint 2002. In Jan. 2004, he was promoted to Corporate Executive Vice President .
In Nov.2005, Huang joined one of the biggest private companies JunYao Group as CEO, after the death of the Founder. Under his leadership, JunYao Group made a successful strategic transformation, reinforced its core business in retail and aviation and grows its business rapidly. He built also a great brand and corporate culture for the group.
In 2010, Huang joined Deutsche Telekom as its Corporate Vice President and CEO China. He makes Deutsche Telekom a major play in high performance network, private cloud and car telematics.
In March 2014，Huang joins TPG as its Partner.
Huang is guest professor at MBA school of Amoy University and Shanghai Antai Management School. He is Vice Chairman of SORSA. In the period 2004-2008, he teached “Global Leadership Program” for JMA. Huang was elected Top Ten CEO of the Year at China CEO Forum 2008. He was elected “the Leader of IT Times” by <IT Times> Magazine in 2012.
