Michigan University delegation visits CCG

On Nov. 19, CCG hosted  a delegation from the Kenneth G. Lieberthal and Richard H. Rogel Center for Chinese Studies at the University of Michigan visited its headquarters and held a discussion with them about the 40th years of China reform and opening-up and China-US relations.

On behalf of CCG, Deputy Secretary General Tang Beijie extended welcome to the American guests and introduced CCG’s recent studies and academic programs. Mary Gallagher, the director of the Kenneth G. Lieberthal and Richard H. Rogel Center for Chinese Studies believes that China and the US need to enhance their communications and exchange, especially as the bilateral relations hit a setback now due to the trade conflict. Meanwhile, the Chinese and American scholars exchanged their opinion about how to maintain the momentum of dialogue and cooperation.
