Track Two Diplomacy
CCG pays close attention to international relations, promotes China and globalization, actively engages in international exchange, and gives full play to its role as a "Track II diplomacy" think tank. Our think tank organizes sub-forums, bilateral and multilateral events, roundtables, banquets and other activities at major international policy and opinion exchange platforms such as the Paris Peace Forum, the World Economic Forum and the Munich Security Conference to promote dialogue and build consensus among international political, business and academic circles. CCG actively engages in "Track II Diplomacy" with the policy, think tank and business communities of various countries, conducts annual research and exchanges in multiple countries, promotes interaction between Chinese and foreign parties, and maintains communication channels with the policymaking parties of various countries.

CCG participates in the New Economy Forum 2019
On November 21-22, the New Economy Forum 2019 was co-hosted in Beijing by the China Center for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE) and Bloomberg. More than 500 figures, including business executives, technology innovators, government officials, and academics discussed ways forward for the global economy at a time of uncertainty. President of the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) Wang Huiyao participated in several panels, sharing views about the world’s economic transition.

CCG participates in the fifth annual meeting of the Astana Club
On November 11-12, 2019, the Nazarbayev Center in Kazakhstan hosted the fifth annual meeting of the Astana Club, the largest platform for discussing geopolitical and security issues in the region. Under the theme “Greater Eurasia: On the Way to a New Architecture for Global Cooperation,” the fifth meeting of the club was organized by the Institute of World Economy and Politics and the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy.
