CCG pays close attention to international relations, promotes China and globalization, actively engages in international exchange, and gives full play to its role as a "Track II diplomacy" think tank. Our think tank organizes sub-forums, bilateral and multilateral events, roundtables, banquets and other activities at major international policy and opinion exchange platforms such as the Paris Peace Forum, the World Economic Forum and the Munich Security Conference to promote dialogue and build consensus among international political, business and academic circles. CCG actively engages in "Track II Diplomacy" with the policy, think tank and business communities of various countries, conducts annual research and exchanges in multiple countries, promotes interaction between Chinese and foreign parties, and maintains communication channels with the policymaking parties of various countries.

Hudson Institute president visits CCG to discuss US-China relations
On July 29, 2019, Kenneth Weinstein, president and CEO of the Hudson Institute and member of the US Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations, visited the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) headquarters in Beijing. The exchange covered a variety of topics, such as the prospects for a Sino-US trade deal and the opportunities and challenges for future Sino-US relations.

Potential paths for WTO reform: discussion with EU delegation
On July 11, a European Union (EU) delegation led by Denis Redonnet, director for WTO, Legal Affairs and Trade in Goods in the European Commission’s DG Trade, visited the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) headquarters in Beijing to exchange ideas with CCG experts on a variety of topics, such as WTO reform, EU-China cooperation and the multilateral trading system.

AIIB committed to the development of infrastructure in Asia
On June 11th, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) was pleased to welcome Sir Danny Alexander, Vice President and Corporate Secretary at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), to deliver a speech on the development and future prospects of the organization. On June 11th, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) was honored to host Dr. Parag Khanna, leading global strategist and best-selling author, to deliver a speech on his most recent book The Future is Asian: Commerce, Conflict, and Culture in the 21st Century. Dr. Khanna introduced key themes and the background behind his new book to attendees, which was recently published in Chinese by CITIC Publishing.
