Waitex Group was founded in New York, USA in 1981 by Chairman and CEO, Mr. Howard Li. Waitex Grouphas prospered over a span of 40years into a successful global enterprise,ranked by Crain’s business magazine as one of the top 200 largest, privately held companies in the greater New York area many years in a row.

In the United States, the group owns several modern logistic centres in New York, New Jersey and California with total building space ofseveral million sqft. The group has several hundred employees in the United States, responsible for processing more than USD 5 billion of goods annually for more than 500 well-known brands and clients.

Waitex Group family affiliate company investments in China include supply chain logistics, high-end commercial properties and residential projects. Waitex Group family affiliate company is the founding partner of 7 Florentia Village Luxury Designer Outlets, a joint venture with an Italian, Hong Kong and a major US investment fund.

Mr. Howard Li was selected by Forbes Asia as one of 25 most influential Chinese Americans in US business. In 2006, President George W. Bush appointed Mr. Li to the President’s Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Currently he is Standing Director of China General Chamber of Commerce in USA, Greater China President for Committee of 100, President of China Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs Association, Co-Chair of Center for China and Globalization and the Honorary Chairman of Hong Kong Federation of Overseas Chinese Association.
