Liu Shijin, deputy director of the Economic Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s
Political Consultative Conference, vice chairman of the China Development Research Foundation,
member of the central bank’s monetary policy committee, China’s chief advisor to the China Environment
and Development Council, former deputy director of the State Council Development Research Center,
researcher, doctoral tutor. He has long been committed to the study of economic theory and policy issues,
mainly in the fields of macroeconomics, industrial development, and economic system reform. He has
published more than 200 academic papers and other articles in important journals at home and abroad,
and is independent, co-author, and editor-in-chief. More than 20 academic works. In recent years, a series
of direct leaders and authors of research results that have produced important impacts, including the
“China in 2030: Building a Modern, Harmonious, and Creative Society” and “China: Promoting Efficient
