Li Ping, the president of Aoji Education Group, director of Australian International Education Centre, chairman of Australian Chinese Community Association and honorary chairman of Federation of Chinese Overseas Students in Australia. Furthermore, he has been the vice president of Beijing Overseas-Study Service Association for many years.
As one of the first Chinese overseas students pursuing MBA in Australia, Mr. Li served as a teacher in International Business School, Sydney in 1987, when he helped a great many Chinese overseas students solve problems concerning language, study and life. In 1990, he initiated the establishment of Australian International Education Centre and acted as the director of 6 schools, including International Business School, Sydney. Then, in 1993, Mr. Li was granted the title of Justice of the Peace (JP) by the Australian government, which made him the first Chinese mainland immigrant to receive the honor. A year later, he became the director of Australian Chinese Community Association.
In 1997, Beijing Aoji Enrolment Centre of International Education Co., Ltd. was established. As an inventor, entrepreneur and educator of education for studying abroad, Mr. Li Ping has taken the corporate goal of leading Chinese students to the world. Under his leadership, Aoji Education Group has grown into an international service agency integrating study abroad, English training, study tour, international school, overseas migration and overseas property purchasing. It has extended the scope of business in over 30 countries including the US, Australia, UK, New Zealand and Canada. Moreover, it has established long-term friendly cooperation with more than 2,000 colleges and educational institutions, and over 60% of overseas top universities have granted the company honorary authorization and exclusive authorization to recruit students for them.
Besides receiving honors as an entrepreneur, Mr. Li Ping has a strong sense of social responsibility. He donated large sums for the people’s reconstruction in the disaster area of China Wenchuan earthquake. After the Japanese earthquake occurred, he led staff of Aoji to provide an open avenue of communication between Japanese colleges and Chinese students and parents. What’s worth mentioning, in order to encourage Chinese students to broaden their international horizon, he has initiated a variety of events, such as 10 Million Scholarship for Students Studying Abroad, Challenge for Chinese Students in the US, etc.
